Project Team : Adrian Amore, Jason Nunn, Federico Iocco

Designed for a family, in a Melbourne suburb, this project is an exploration of space and form driven by physical context, energies, spatial movement, elasticity.

The siting of the building, its configuration and how it attaches itself to the land has been driven by sun movement patterns, optimising solar access into the living spaces and garden areas. The living spaces terrace with the natural slope of the land, engaging and immersing with the landscape. The gardens become a crucial element in the experience of the buildings composition.

Circulation ramp draws from under a hovering part of the building, bending and connecting to the entry level. Movement and flow patterns have been used to sculpt the interior plan, seamlessly connecting the spaces whilst containing the private zones.

The building’s skins are layered,  enfolding,  dynamically shifting and shaping the buildings architectural form.

Concrete, zinc and glass walls bend and move harmoniously in synchronicity.
